Volunteer SAHC Ambassador

A SAHC Ambassador is a volunteer who represents SAHC at public and tabling events. A tabling event is a planned occasion where volunteers greet the public, engage them in our cause, and ask them to take further action (i.e. providing an email address, becoming a member, etc). Event tabling is an important part of our work that needs to be done to raise awareness about local land and water conservation. Read more

The mission of the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy is to conserve the unique plant and animal habitat, clean water, farmland, scenic beauty, and places for all people to enjoy outdoor recreation in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, enduring for future generations. We achieve this through long-term conservation relationships with private landowners and public agencies and owning and managing land.
