Many companies match their employees’, board members’, or retirees’ charitable contributions. Corporate matching gifts provide a way for Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy members to maximize their personal contributions and increase the impact of their gift. By taking advantage of a company’s matching gift benefit, it is possible to double or even triple your contribution.
Check with your human resources department to find out if your company will match your gift and, if so, ask them for the proper form. (You may also qualify through a company from which you have retired or on whose boards you serve.)
If your company or employer does match donations, complete the form provided by them and send it to SAHC along with your gift. You will be notified when your corporate matching donation arrives. Remember that every dollar your company and you contribute moves us all one step closer to preserving more of this incomparable place known as the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
