“We hiked to Mt. Craig on a beautiful day that started out about 59 degrees. We had partly cloudy skies and we didn’t get any rain. There were several rock scrambles on the way to Mt. Craig but overall the hike was wonderful.”

The mission of the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy is to conserve the unique plant and animal habitat, clean water, farmland, scenic beauty, and places for all people to enjoy outdoor recreation in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, enduring for future generations.
