The Education Center on SAHC’s Community Farm was renovated from an existing structure on the farm property donated in 2010 by Marie Anderson. The Education Center provides indoor space for classes and workshops, as well as outdoor space on the deck and large hardscaped patio area. A thriving pollinator garden surrounds the patio. In addition to the indoor classroom space and restroom, the building contains a certified value-added commercial kitchen.
The Education Center space has been used for farmer education workshops, nonprofit retreats, Leave No Trace classes, program space for afterschool and summer camp groups, a gathering area for groups touring the Discovery Trail, wedding receptions, and more.
