SAHC’s involvement in conservation:
SAHC was instrumental in the protection of this 870-acre conservation easement held by the Clean Water Management Trust Fund, co-managed with SAHC and owned by the Town of Canton. Our Stewardship Team monitors the conservation easement each year, to ensure that the land and water resources will continue to be protected for future generations.
We have led a variety of guided hikes, including Winter Tree ID excursions, bike rides, and a night hike on this property.
Be sure to check out our list of upcoming hikes and events, and join us for an adventure!
