DESCRIPTION:Date: Friday\, November 21st\nTime: 10:30 AM\nWhere: Pine Knob Trail – South Yellow Mountain Preserve\nDistance: 1-2 miles \nDifficulty: Moderate (5/10)\, various volunteer tasks available to choose from!\nRegistration: Registration is REQUIRED and FREE\n  \nCalling all volunteers! While the trail to Pine Knob on SAHC’s South Yellow Mountain Preserve is in working order\, it needs a lot of loving care. We need help with a variety of needs\, which include: building bridges\, removing trip hazards\, trimming small trees\, placing stepping stones\, and much more. This popular trail showcases an overlook\, waterfall\, and historic mine\, so let’s make it safe and beautiful! This property is located just outside of Spruce Pine\, NC\, so we will meet at the local Fox & Fig Bakery and caravan to the worksite together at 10:30 am! \nWhat To Bring: Close-toed shoes\, work gloves\, lunch\, water\, jacket/rain gear.
