DESCRIPTION:EcoPrinted Patterns Workshop \n\nDATE: Saturday February 14\, 2026\nTIME: 11:00am – 3:00 pm\nCOST: $115 person \nDISCOUNTS: SAHC members get $10 OFF / Returning Students get $20 OFF\n\nMax of 12 students \n\n \nDescription:\nCreate unexpected repeat patterns with botanical prints.  Join artist Meredith Law to unlock botanical pigments.  We will use dried botanicals on cotton\, silk\, & linen.  After steam printing\, we will explore how iron water can make dark contrasting prints & natural dye baths can add bold color. We will go from the basics to some more advanced concepts – so there will be something for everyone.\n\nAll materials are provided\, so you’ll leave with 2 wearable pieces of fiber art! \n*Enjoy a treat for yourself on Valentine’s Day and make a gift for someone you love. \n\n\nMaterials provided: \n\nDried botanicals\nNatural dyes & modifiers\nPre-treated fabrics to experiment on\nReady-to-print cotton bandana & silk scarf \nAprons & gloves\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nBio – Meredith Law:\n\nI’m a naturalist\, artist\, and event designer who gets excited about the tiniest details.  With a BFA in sculpture and a degree in botany\, my passion lies in collecting unusual pieces from nature and creating elegant things out of the unexpected.  For my event design company\, I act as art director\, illustrator\, and event brand ambassador making sure every detail tells a story.  But what I really love is teaching folks to make beautiful things by exploring where nature meets art.\n\nInstagram: @meredithlawdesign
