Great American Outdoors Act – How we got here and what does the future hold for conservation?
The Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) is the biggest land conservation legislation in a generation, a measure with broad bipartisan support and is now law. GAOA guarantees maximum annual funding to acquire and preserve land for public use as well as much needed funding for maintenance at national parks, wildlife refuges, forests, and other federal lands.
Hear directly from one of the frontline Land and Water Conservation Fund advocates, Jay Leutze, SAHC Board Advisory, author, and avid conservationist to learn about the history of this bill and how it will impact conservation in the region.
