SAHC’s 2019 Farmer Education Workshop Series
What: Two-wheel Walk-Behind Tractor: Demo and Hands-on Workshop
When: Thursday, August 29 from 2-5 pm
Where: SAHC’s Community Farm, 180 Mag Sluder Rd, Alexander, NC 28701
This workshop will introduce you to the two-wheel tractor. This is an economical tool used worldwide by market gardeners
& farmers, backyard gardeners, homesteaders and property managers. Come out and see a BCS 853 tractor in action and get hands-on experience.
We will demonstrate multiple attachments including the basic tiller, rotary plow, flail mower & power harrow. You will learn about tractor selection, implement types, maintenance/repair — and then have the chance to run the machine yourself!
This workshop is open to the public; everyone is welcome! Cost: $20
