What we’ll be doing: Pine Knob Trail Work

Calling all volunteers! While the trail to Pine Knob on SAHC’s South Yellow Mountain Preserve is in working order, it needs a lot of loving care.

We need help with a variety of needs, which include: building bridges, removing trip hazards, trimming small trees, placing stepping stones, and much more.

This trail is the most used outings trail on SYMP and showcases an overlook, waterfall, and historic mine, so let’s make it safe and beautiful!

Volunteers should bring water, lunch, sturdy work shoes, work gloves and their favorite trail tool (if you have one – not necessary if you don’t). Tools will be provided, and no prior experience needed.

Please register by filling out the form below; more information will be provided to registered participants prior to the volunteer work day.
