Our supporters at Second Gear will donate 1% of net sales proceeds from the ENTIRE month of March to SAHC!

Second Gear is a consignment shop specializing in new & used outdoor gear, clothing, footwear and accessories. Second Gear has supported our work as an annual Land Trust Day sponsor since 2009. This year, we are grateful to them for ‘stepping up’ their support!

“Second Gear is excited about expanding our support of SAHC beyond our annual participation in Land Trust Day, as we highlight the organization twice this year throughout March and June,” says owner Russ Oates. “We treasure the natural wonders here in WNC and love to play outdoors, so we are especially grateful for all that SAHC does to protect our mountains for generations to come.”

Second Gear is Asheville’s answer for affordable outdoor gear and clothing. They have specialized in selling used gear since 2004. Along with consigned gear, Second Gear also carries a selection of new items including guidebooks, regional maps, CamelBak hydration reservoirs, camp fuel, camping accessories, disc golf equipment, cycling accessories, ENO hammocks and climbing gear. Come see us in the store on Sunday, March 26 from 11 am to 3 pm, as we highlight our Southern Sixer Hiking Challenge.
