Highland Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest Marzen, is back for the 10th year! This Oktoberfestbier has been a favorite for the past decade and has won acclaim for being an authentic example of this traditional style. The brew is named for Clawhammer Mountain in Pisgah National Forest, as well as an old-time style of banjo picking. HBC is celebrating Clawhammer’s return with a mustache contest!
A dollar from every pint of Clawhammer poured during the release party will be donated to SAHC to support our efforts to preserve the natural beauty and land/water resources of the Southern Appalachians. In the afternoon, SAHC staff and volunteers will be onsite to answer questions about our work and sell “For Love of Beer & Mountains” conservation merchandise. Stop by and say hi!
We are grateful to Highland Brewing Company for supporting SAHC as a “For Love of Beer & Mountains” partner!
