Join Park Greer for a strenuous 2.5-mile hike at SAHC’s South Yellow Mountain Preserve for an opportunity to learn more about the area’s human history and as a compliment to the Virtual Lunch & Learn on June 10. Along the way participants will pass an old homestead, mines, and other signs of past activity that shaped the mountains and how SAHC is preserving these sites. This hike is mostly on old logging roads with a few areas that are very steep, so please come prepared with sturdy footwear, plenty of water, and snacks; trekking poles are recommended.
NOTE: Due to limited parking availability, we will be hard capping this hike at 12 participants. Please register each party member individually to ensure we do not go over this number.
