In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we at SAHC want to acknowledge the many challenges our community continues to face as well as the difficult road to recovery that lies before us. Through these times of distress, we hope everyone is staying safe and finding ways to cope. In an effort to help restore a sense of normalcy and connection, the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy invites you to a special gathering!
Come join us for an easy hike to the summit of Deaverview Mountain, just outside of Asheville’s city limits. While taking in the breathtaking views of our city, we’ll enjoy an evening of fun and community featuring warm beverages, yard games, and the beautiful sunset. This is a chance to unwind, reconnect with nature, and support one another as we look towards rebuilding.
