Have you ever been curious about the ever elusive birds you hear chirping in the morning or flying overhead as you walk along the sidewalk? What bird is it? What does it look like? How does it sound? All of these questions and more can be answered during our Winter Bird Walk at Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary. Teaming up with Tom Tribble with Elisha Mitchell Audubon Society (EMAS), SAHC and EMAS will lead a stroll through the sanctuary perusing the tree branches with binoculars in search of various bird species along with educational information on birding. This bird walk is especially great for beginner birders and/or for the curious mind.
NOTICE: Please bring your own binoculars if you have them! We have a limited number of binoculars for individuals to use.
This outing is FREE but pre-registration is required below.
