Nuptials for Nature
Nestled in the rolling foothills of Western North Carolina, this historic farm is located just 9.5 miles from downtown Asheville. We have honored the land and our community by restoring 3,000 feet of a French Broad River tributary, creating a program to support new farmers, and establishing a space for environmental education. Our focus here is on Conservation, Education, and YOUR Celebration.

Ceremony & Reception
Envision yourself and your memories becoming a part of this place. Imagine quiet and peace during your outdoor ceremony, followed by laughter and music at night among the fireflies… Views of Mt. Pisgah and the Newfound Mountains frame the scene. Wildflowers fill the fields in summer, and surrounding mountains burst with maroon and orange hues in the fall.

- Access to the event space for two hours
- Field ceremony location under a 200-year-old oak tree with picturesque mountain views as your backdrop
- 30’ x 60’ stone patio space with string lights overhead
- 20′ x 30′ indoor event/reception space with bathroom
- 12′ x 40′ wooden deck with string lights overhead
- Commercial kitchen for refrigeration, ice machine, and catering prep space
- Bluetooth outdoor and indoor surround sound stereos
- A/V system with projector, screen, and Bluetooth hook up
- Parking for up to 40 cars
- 25 chairs and 6 six-foot-long banquet tables
- One 1-hour planning visit prior to the event (with appointment)
- A representative of SAHC Community Farm on-site during the event
- Electricity available with a full metered power panel at the event patio area
- Garbage, recycling, and on-site compost
Elopements
Weddings and events directly benefit the Southern Appalachian Highland Conservancy’s conservation and education programs. Each event creates a positive impact on local communities and the future of conserved lands across Western North Carolina and East Tennessee.
Day of Coordinator
Let our Day of Coordinator take care of all your logistics so you can breathe easy during your big day! This “Day Of” package will give you confidence that your event is managed with the utmost care and that you have all the support that you need. Your coordinator will jump in full force around 30 days out from your event date. Leading up to this, your coordinator is available via email and phone calls to help guide you through the planning process, minimize stress, and organize your thoughts.
Cost: $1,800
Pre Wedding:
- Vendor recommendation and any other minor guiding tools
- Monthly email check in’s
30 day meeting out:
- Constructing a detailed wedding day timeline
- Drawing up layouts
- Getting a list of personal items the couple plans to bring
- Going over all “30-day meeting rules”
- Confirming all details with vendors
- Facilitate the ceremony rehearsal
Wedding Day:
- Planner arrives on-site before the first vendor & stays on site until last vendor and all guests leave
- Coordinating setup of tables, chairs, and wedding accessories such as a guest book, place
- cards, favors, etc.
- Meeting with vendors upon arrival to ensure they deliver/set up accordingly
- Follow and manage event timeline
- Directing the ceremony
- Help to insure music and speeches run smoothly
- Assisting the wedding party and guests as needed
- Pack couples personal belongings, coordinate the breakdown and cleaning process.
- Distributing final payment and gratuity to vendors if needed

Event Security Deposit
$750 for up to 100 guests; $1,000 for 101-180 guests. Collected 30 days prior to the event.
Hold Event Date Requirements
Wedding dates are secured on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a date you must submit:
- A signed rental agreement
- Payment of 50% of rental fee payable by check
- The second half of the payment is due 30 days prior to the event
General Requirements
Clients are required to purchase the following:
- A preferred “Day-of” planner (not required for elopements)
- $1M insurance policy (not required for elopements)
Services Not Included in Wedding Packages Prices
- Catering and catering services (food, wait staff, bartenders etc.)
- Alcohol
- Wedding Planners
- Tent and additional chairs for the ceremony
- Decorating services
- Set up or tear down
- Wedding insurance
- Additional portable bathrooms required for events with 100+ guests
Access to Event Center
- Wedding Rehearsal: Clients can hold a one-hour rehearsal before 5:00 pm during the week before the wedding (provided no other events are booked for that date/time). If more rehearsal time is necessary, the client will be charged $200 for each additional hour.
- No items can be stored at the Community Farm outside of the access hours.
