Presenter: Rachel Whiteman, ETSU Masters Candidate for Geospatial Analysis
Rachel Whiteman is an experienced GIS student at East Tennessee State University. Her thesis is identifying habitat for threatened birds in the Eastern Tennessee area. She has created many story maps, one of which inspired her thesis topic: Roan Mountain and Hampton Creek Cove Birding Areas. This StoryMap was created for the Elizabethton Bird Club as part of their outreach.
Rachel will walk through her Roan Mountain and Hampton Creek Cove Birding Areas StoryMap during the presentation, with plenty of time for questions afterward.
